Job summary

Camden County Public Service Authority seeks an Executive Director to plan, develop and direct Camden’s recreation facilities and programs with a strong emphasis on financial stewardship and strategic planning.

The role reports to the PSA Board and oversees a diverse workforce, guiding decisions with sound financial practices and data-driven analysis to align with the board’s direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Recreation Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Sports Management, Public Relations or a relevant area; work experience may replace education.
• Strong organizational leadership with progressively responsible management duties; understanding operational, financial, and strategic functions of department subunits.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of annual operating budget with forecasting, revenue analysis and cost controls.
• Monitor financial performance and implement controls for fiscal responsibility.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for board presentations.
• Plan, develop and direct Recreation programs, services, and facility operations.
• Guide program development with data and community assessments and manage staff performance.
• Coordinate with public and private partners and pursue grants and sponsorships.
