The Learning Experience – Ephrata is seeking an Assistant Director to own enrollment growth, marketing efforts, and the business operations of the center. You will manage every lead from first contact to enrollment, while also handling billing, payroll coordination support, and vendor relationships in partnership with the Center Director.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in childcare administration, enrollment/sales, or business operations (childcare industry experience strongly preferred).
• Hunter mentality — you like chasing and closing, not just answering the phone when it rings.
• Comfort with numbers: tuition rates, billing, basic P&L thinking.
• Strong organizational skills — you don't let things slip.
• Warm, professional presence with parents; direct, accountable with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire enrollment lead pipeline and drive inquiries to tours and enrollment.
• Respond to leads quickly and persistently until a decision is reached.
• Conduct center tours that convert and close enrollments.
• Track enrollment metrics weekly: leads, tours, conversions, waitlists by room/age group.
• Maintain a simple CRM/tracking system to avoid dropped leads.
