JPMorganChase in New York seeks an Executive Director to lead Commercial Banking Learning. You will set the learning strategy, deliver a role-based curriculum, and partner with senior leaders to drive measurable business outcomes.

You will own the multi-year learning roadmap, scale high-quality experiences across modalities, and ensure alignment with revenue growth, client experience, and risk readiness. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role within Commercial Banking Learning.

Qualifications

• Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in Learning & Development, enablement, talent, or business roles.
• Demonstrate Commercial Banking business understanding to diagnose needs and advise leaders credibly.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage priorities, and translate strategy into executable learning roadmaps.
• People leadership experience and strong matrix collaboration skills.
• Track record of measuring outcomes and reallocating effort toward high-impact work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior learning advisor to Commercial Banking executives, showing deep understanding of strategy, client coverage, products, credit lifecycle, and performance drivers.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders, set clear learning priorities, and challenge unclear or misaligned requests.
• Translate requests into measurable business challenges and outcomes with target audiences and performance gaps.
• Establish governance for learning priorities including planning and sponsorship rights.
• Own the multi-year learning strategy and roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Assess capability needs to support performance and talent readiness across Commercial Banking.
• Oversee end-to-end program design and delivery across modalities with consistent quality and scalable approach.
• Partner with SMEs and vendors to develop content aligned to Commercial Banking realities.
• Define and measure success through business and learner outcomes (productivity, proficiency, adoption, KPIs).
• Build a high-performing team and ensure governance, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
