Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to drive modernization of payments platforms within Corporate and Investment Bank Technology. You will design scalable Java cloud-native applications, establish architectural standards, and lead enterprise-scale decisions while mentoring teams.

You will collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, balancing performance, security, and reliability in a global technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Java development with cloud-native design.
• Strong Java coding skills with Spring Boot and open-source frameworks.
• Experience with distributed computing, high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Expert knowledge of microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerization; SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, Java-based cloud-native applications.
• Architect solutions for large data volumes with low latency and high throughput.
• Create architecture blueprints for distributed systems.
