Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY, seeks an Executive Director, Capital Projects to lead design, procurement, and execution of major construction across the campus.

You will mentor staff, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, develop procurement strategies, and ensure delivery from concept through occupancy, aligning with the institution's mission and long-term campus goals. Starting salary is $183,600 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar capital projects.
• Strong understanding of construction cost estimating and accounting.
• Ability to present plans, budgets, schedules and outcomes to senior leadership and partners.
• Proficiency in coordinating cross-disciplinary teams (clinical, research, admin, facilities).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, procurement, and execution of major campus capital projects from concept through occupancy.
• Develop procurement strategies and oversee procurement processes.
• Mentor staff and manage internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and within scope.
