Summary: Roswell Park is seeking a strategic and innovative Executive Director, Capital Projects to lead the design, procurement, and execution of major construction and infrastructure initiatives across our campus. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll oversee a dynamic portfolio of multiple capital projects, serving in a stewardship capacity to ensure projects align with the institution's mission, operational priorities, and long-term campus goals.
You will lead and mentor staff while managing internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary design and construction teams. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, overseeing design and construction procurement processes, managing contract administration, and ensuring successful project delivery from concept through occupancy.
The ideal candidate shall have demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar capital projects and associated budgets, with a deep understanding of construction cost estimating and accounting, delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, including experience presenting project plans, budgets, schedules, and outcomes to senior leadership, authorities having jurisdiction, and community partners. Proficiency with contract documents and the ability to foster collaboration among clinical, research, administrative, and facilities partners are critical to success in this role.
Starting salary is $183,600 commensurate with experience. Also includes a comprehensive benefits package.
