Job summary

Travere Therapeutics, located in San Diego with USA-Remote options, seeks an Executive Director of Corporate Development to lead and close complex biopharma transactions. You will drive M&A, in-licensing and collaborations, shape deal structures, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Research, Regulatory, Commercial and Legal.

The role requires 12–15+ years in biotech/pharma corporate development, strong financial modeling and executive presence to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business or related discipline required; MBA/PhD strongly preferred.
• 12–15+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with corporate development experience.
• Proven experience leading and closing complex transactions in the biopharma space.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and execution of transactions, including M&A, in-licensing, strategic collaborations, partnerships, investments and other transactions designed to expand and enhance the Company’s portfolio.
• Develop transaction strategies and deal structures, including term sheets and definitive agreements, and negotiate effectively.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and present findings to senior leadership and the Board.
• Contribute to corporate strategy, portfolio planning and externalization initiatives.
• Represent Travere at industry events and mentor Corporate Development team members.
