Job summary

Garden Hills Residence in New Jersey seeks a hands-on administrator to direct day-to-day operations in accordance with federal, state and local laws and Garden Hills standards.

Fully responsible for occupancy development, and the sales/marketing needs of the community, while promoting a safe environment and strong resident relations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, NJ CALA certification, and 3+ years in assisted living/long-term care; RN preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• NJ CALA certification required; RN license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in assisted living/long-term care.
• Strong marketing and sales background in healthcare.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience training and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee day-to-day functions of the community in line with laws and standards.
• Oversee occupancy development and support sales/marketing needs.
• Promote a safe environment for residents, visitors and associates regarding infection control and life safety.
• Develop and maintain programs to promote a positive image and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain resident retention by working with residents and their families.
• Direct training and development of clinical and administrative personnel, motivating, supervising and evaluating.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
