Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in New Jersey seeks a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to provide strategic leadership and oversee day-to-day administration across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods. You will ensure staffing, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

As second-in-command with the Executive Director, you will coordinate 24/7 operations and serve as HIPAA Privacy Coordinator, upholding resident privacy and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within a retirement community or similar environment.
• Current state Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license.
• Minimum of two years' experience within the geriatric healthcare field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing and assisted living centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the day-to-day administration of Wellness Home Services for Independent Living, as well as healthcare services supporting the community's Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods.
• Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and control of revenues and expenses, including staffing aligned to census and budgeted PPD.
• Serve as HIPAA Privacy Coordinator and ensure adherence to privacy regulations and policies.
• Share responsibility for 24/7 operational coverage with the Executive Director.
