  • Strong financial acumen—budgeting, reporting, translating data into accountability.
  • Experience with private equity-backed organizations (board reporting, value creation, investor relations).
  • Proven ability to lead teams through growth, scaling, or transition.
  • Track record building collaborative relationships with clinical leaders/physicians.
  • Excellent communication; comfortable leading through influence over authority.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Based in the Bay Area, CA with willingness to travel regularly across sites.

  • Own financial planning & budgeting, and growth modeling.
  • Present operating and financial updates to leadership and the Board.
  • Represent the organization in key external relationships (payors, vendors, community partners).

Job description

We're seeking an experienced operating executive to lead a Management Services Organization (MSO) supporting two behavioral health practices serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing all non-clinical functions — finance, revenue cycle management, HR, administration, marketing/admissions, and real estate/facilities — while partnering closely with clinical leadership to ensure the administrative organization runs efficiently and stays aligned with each practice's mission. The role reports to the ownership group and Board and plays a central role in strategic and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop functional leaders across finance, RCM, HR, admin, marketing/admissions, and real estate/facilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between administrative and clinical leadership at both practices
