Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Director to lead and refine dining operations, develop and execute menus, and ensure high standards of safety and quality across facilities. You will manage budgets, labor, and cost controls, mentor teams, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering dining solutions that meet client needs and taste preferences in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of experience.
• Requires 1-3 years in a management role.
• Experience in food service required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills essential.
• Ability to develop client rapport and maintain client relations.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments for unified service.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain systems for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving food products and menu development.
• Develop operational forecasts and explain variances; manage components accounting functions.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate and supervise unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, cost control, labor management and training.
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain front-line team; conduct inventories.
• Maintain records to comply with ARAMARK, government and accrediting standards.
• Interact with Client Management and maintain client relations at all levels; participate in sales and contracts.
• Look for opportunities to implement new products and services to support sales growth and client retention.
• Manage front-of-house dining operations and develop food service plans aligned with client mission.
