Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks a Food Service Director to lead dining operations for correctional facilities. You will develop menus, oversee production and distribution, and ensure service aligns with the client’s mission and safety standards.

You will coach teams, manage budgets, and drive profitability while maintaining compliance and high-quality service for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of experience
• Requires 1–3 years in a management role
• Requires previous experience in food service
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain effective client rapport for mutually beneficial relationships
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service using Aramark standards

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams, including recruiting, training, coaching and performance management
• Identify client needs and communicate progress effectively
• Adopt Aramark processes and manage revenue, budget, food, beverage and labor costs
• Achieve food and labor targets and maintain costs within budget
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
• Maintain systems for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving food products
