Job summary

KBR is seeking a Strategic Events and Engagements Coordinator to plan, coordinate and execute logistics for a semi-annual weapons planning conference at the General Officer level. The role serves as the central integrator for administrative, logistical, and stakeholder engagement requirements, ensuring synchronized execution in a high-visibility environment.

The successful candidate will manage timelines, invitations, venue, AV, catering, attendee communications, and on-site support,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience coordinating high-visibility events involving senior leaders or officers.
• Ability to manage multiple planning lines of effort (logistics, scheduling, invitations, stakeholder coordination).
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to track timelines and actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordinator for semi-annual weapons planning conference with general officer participation.
• Handle admin, logistics, and coordination across government and joint agencies.
• Develop and maintain planning timelines, trackers, checklists and seating plans.
• Coordinate venue selection, room setups, audiovisual support, catering and transportation.
• Manage invitations, RSVPs, registration, and attendee communications.
• Coordinate agendas, read-aheads, materials and speaker support packages.
