Job summary

KBR in Virginia is seeking a Conferencing Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, trainings and meetings for the National Security Solutions team. You will manage budgets, coordinate venues, AV, catering, and vendor relations while maintaining proactive communication with customers and government points of contact.

Requirements include TS/SCI with polygraph, five years in event or conference management, and a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• Minimum five years of proven Event Planner or Conference Manager experience.
• Familiar with KPIs and conferencing software for event management.
• Strong oral and written communication; personnel management experience.
• Ability to interpret, capture and manage customer requirements and expectations.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of conferences, trainings and meetings.
• Coordinate tasks and requirements for customer conferencing and training events.
• Develop event plans, schedules, and implement requirements.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and obtain approvals from government POCs.
• Communicate proactively with customers and stakeholders throughout events.
• Coordinate venues, catering, AV, logistics and vendor relations.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify improvements.
