Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a senior data governance lead to bridge business domains with the Data Transformation Office. You will champion AI‑first data stewardship, define data contracts, and drive domain data roadmaps across the enterprise data platform.

You will oversee data quality, governance, and metadata standards, collaborating with engineering, product owners, and leadership to deliver value and trust across complex fund and data structures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in a data‑focused role within or closely aligned to the relevant business domain.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the assigned domain, translating business context into data requirements.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with medallion architecture, data pipelines, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to document data dictionaries and glossary terms; strong communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake preferred.
• Familiarity with AI/ML data requirements and metadata standards.

Responsibilities

• Socialize and implement the data strategy within the domain; engage leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify data opportunities and surface improvements across systems and reporting.
• Define data contracts and governance for upstream and downstream data flows.
• Oversee end‑to‑end data quality checks and maintain a data health score.
• Create domain‑level data roadmaps and support AI knowledge bases and retrieval systems.
• Lead integration with the enterprise MDM and participate in governance forums.
