Rivian is seeking a Business Operations Lead to act as the intelligence layer between the Customer Analytics and Sales & Delivery leadership. This role owns the source of truth for all performance KPIs, ensuring data is clean, consistent, and presented to drive decision-making.

This position moves fluently between data and narrative, connecting macro business trends to micro-level patterns across sites and regions, with a strong editorial instinct and executive storytelling ability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in retail analytics or similarly data-intensive commercial role
• Experience owning KPI frameworks and governing metric definitions across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
• Fluency in data visualization tools and dashboard design
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM operations and analytics tooling
• Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements and findings into business language
• Strong narrative instincts: build the story behind data for executives

Responsibilities

• Maintain the source of truth for all Sales & Delivery performance KPIs — defining metrics, governing definitions, and ensuring consistency across dashboards, reports, and leadership communications
• Serve as the primary liaison to the Customer Analytics organization, translating operational and executive needs into dashboard and reporting requirements
• Identify performance trends across site, regional, and portfolio levels — connecting macro dynamics to micro-level patterns
• Translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for Sales & Delivery leadership
• Own the analytical narrative in executive presentations, briefs, WBRs, QBRs, and leadership reviews
• Monitor data integrity across all reporting surfaces, identifying inconsistencies and driving resolution
• Build and maintain performance visibility frameworks for site, regional, and executive leaders
• Partner with Analytics, Finance, Sales Operations, and Field Leadership to align on KPI definitions and evolve the metrics framework
