Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Senior Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across multiple outlets, driving standards, safety, and efficiency. You will partner with senior leaders to scale services, manage high-volume dining, catering, and special events, and influence strategic menu development.

The role demands strong financial acumen, staff development, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-security environment, with 24/7 operations support as needed.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree and 10+ years of progressive industry experience (including kitchen leadership)
• Experience managing multi-outlet operations with large teams and high-volume service
• Strong financial acumen, costing, inventory, and vendor management

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold standards of operation across multiple kitchen environments and service formats.
• Lead food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and health audits for all sites.
• Hire, train, mentor, and develop culinary staff (teams of 80+) and manage performance.
• Coordinate openings of new outlets, and ensure multi-site consistency and scale.
• Own financial planning, inventory, purchasing, and cost targets for food and labor.
