Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a Controller to lead the North America accounting and financial reporting function. You will drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, maintain strong controls, and partner with CFO/Deputy CFO to translate complex transactions into accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Significant progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and reporting requirements.
• Experience leading financial close, external audit, internal controls, and technical accounting activities.
• Experience developing accounting professionals and communicating to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely reporting.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and governance.
• Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Coordinate close with Treasury, AP, and other finance teams.
• Drive automation and standardization of accounting processes.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements, MD&A, and audit support.
