Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa is seeking a Conference Services Manager to coordinate all aspects of events for booked affairs, ensuring quality and profitability. You will liaise with clients and internal teams to plan meetings, AV, catering and vendor needs, while maximizing revenue and guest satisfaction.

You will lead pre- and post-event activities, conduct site inspections, and maintain strong relationships across departments to deliver premium service at a historic Virginia resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree and related work experience are preferred.
• 2-5 years of hospitality experience is desired, preferably in conference services.
• Working knowledge of a hotel or resort.
• Excellent communication and sales skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi FDC is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conference activities and ensure compliance with property policy.
• Manage meeting space, AV, catering, and vendors through BEOs and resumes.
• Aim to exceed revenue goals and upsell services.
• Develop plans to surpass revenue targets for events.
• Maintain relationships with departments like Spa, Golf and Activities.
• Conduct site inspections and pre/post-event meetings as needed.
