Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking an SVP, Compensation in Bridgeton, MO to design and govern the bank's compensation programs, including executive compensation, aligning with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and pay-for-performance.

You will partner with the EVP of Human Resources and the Board's Compensation Committee, oversee governance calendars, and coordinate with external consultants to ensure compliant, competitive programs.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive experience in compensation or finance in a publicly traded company or regulated financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of SEC disclosures, proxy statements, and executive compensation governance.
• Experience with external advisors (consultants and legal counsel) and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and the Compensation Committee on compensation decisions.
• Lead development and delivery of Compensation Committee materials, analyses, and meeting agendas.
• Oversee executive compensation design, including base salary, incentives, long-term incentives, and equity awards.
• Manage regulatory, reputational, and shareholder risk related to compensation decisions and disclosures.
• Coordinate with external compensation consultants for market benchmarking and plan design insights.
• Ensure compliance with SEC rules, 409A, and banking regulations in all compensation programs.
