Job summary

Equinix seeks a seasoned executive compensation leader to design, implement, and manage compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top executive talent while aligning pay with company performance.

The role partners with senior leadership, the Compensation Committee, and key stakeholders to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive compensation experience with deep expertise in executive compensation.
• Knowledge of governance trends and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of executive compensation programs (base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, special awards).
• Ensure programs are market-competitive, performance-driven, and aligned with shareholder interests.
• Prepare materials and analyses for the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors.
• Support annual CD&A disclosures for proxy and SEC filings.
• Oversee governance, compliance, and risk assessments related to executive compensation.
• Manage a small team and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations.
