Job summary

SullivanCotter’s C3 Nonprofit Consulting Group seeks an Executive Principal to lead compensation consulting for nonprofit organizations. You will manage complex, high-impact engagements, grow the client portfolio, and serve as a trusted client relationship manager.

You’ll work remotely with teams across the U.S. and contribute to marketing, thought leadership, and proposal development while guiding junior staff and maintaining top client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or equivalent.
• Fifteen years or more of executive and staff compensation consulting experience.
• Experience serving mission-based organizations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage complex, high-pressure engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and manage compensation projects.
• Develop client relationships and generate new revenue.
• Serve as Client Relationship Manager for large engagements.
• Oversee teams across engagements and ensure effective planning.
• Synthesize data into actionable recommendations.
• Deliver reports and presentations to clients.
• Mentor and develop associates.
