Job summary

Jobtailor’s client, a leading financial institution, seeks a senior executive compensation leader to design and govern compensation programs for executives. You will advise the EVP of Human Resources and lead the preparation and delivery of Compensation Committee materials.

This role requires deep expertise in executive compensation governance, SEC disclosures, 409A, and collaboration with external consultants on market data and plan design.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in compensation governance for publicly traded or regulated financial institutions.
• Deep expertise in SEC disclosures, proxy statements, and risk management related to compensation.
• Strong ability to translate complex compensation concepts for executives and Board members.
• Experience with 409A, Section 16, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, preparation, and delivery of Compensation Committee materials.
• Advise executive leadership on base salary, incentives, and equity awards.
• Oversee executive compensation disclosures (CD&A, proxy statements).
• Manage governance calendar for executive compensation and committee activities.
• Partner with external consultants on market data and plan design.
