Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a junior associate to join its corporate practice in New York. The candidate will advise on executive compensation, employee benefits and employment laws for public and private companies, financial institutions and funds.

Qualified candidates hold a JD and New York bar admission with at least two years of relevant experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a client‑service orientation in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Membership in good standing with the New York bar.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Excellent drafting skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and matters simultaneously.
• Strong client service orientation and work ethic.
• Experience with employment law disputes and investigations preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Sections 83 and 409A of the Code.
• Develop cash-based and equity-based incentive compensation plans.
• Draft and negotiate employment, consulting, and severance contracts.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA and Code provisions for benefit plans.
• Interpret Title I of ERISA from fund and investor perspectives.
• Navigate key labor and employment laws, including wage and hour regulations.
