Job summary

Permanent Placements LLC in New York seeks an Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its New York office. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years advising on executive compensation and employee benefits in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

You will counsel clients on plans and incentive programs, draft and negotiate employment and severance agreements, and address labor issues arising in transactions while supporting M&A deals with a collaborative law team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Candidates with prior experience at a large law firm are preferred, though exceptional candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered.
