Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services, a premier global law firm, seeks an Associate with at least 3 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits to join its New York practice. You will handle sophisticated compensation matters arising in domestic and cross-border transactions and advise market-leading clients accordingly.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience.
Experience advising on compensation and benefits in corporate transactions preferred.
Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on executive compensation and employee benefits in corporate transactions.
Support mergers and acquisitions and capital markets deals from an compensation perspective.
Draft, review and negotiate compensation and benefits-related documentation.
Counsel on design and implementation of equity incentive arrangements.
Advise on employee benefits issues including tax considerations.
Assist clients with multi-jurisdictional employment matters.
Collaborate with tax, corporate, employment and governance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide commercially focused advice aligned with clients' objectives and market conditions.
