Job summary
SAIC is seeking an Executive Communications Team Member at Scott AFB, IL, to support USTRANSCOM in VIP communications, O&M, and network engineering for mobile and secure systems. The role includes on-site customer support for executive staff, implementing fixes, and documenting hardware/software changes in a fast-paced environment.
Requires DoD Secret clearance, IAT II certifications, and experience with MS Office.
Qualifications
- BA/BS with 10+ years in exec communications
- DoD Secret clearance
- IAT Level II security certs (Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
- CE cert in networking/defense or OS certs (e.g., Microsoft, Linux)
- Experience researching and writing technical documentation
- MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks in fast-paced env.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to translate IT/networking/security concepts for varied audiences
- Ability to communicate IT concepts across levels
Responsibilities
- Provide VIP team support to CONUS/OCONUS locations
- Support VIP communications and networks including mobile and deployable systems
- Test deployable equipment to be deployment-ready within one hour
- Provide frontline IT support with minimal supervision
- Install, repair, and maintain workstations and related software/hardware
- Troubleshoot software/hardware failures and restore services per SLAs
- Document, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems
- Implement fixes via registry edits, AD policies, and testing
- Travel as needed to CONUS/OCONUS locations
