Job summary

TJ Consulting Group seeks an Executive Communications Travel Team Member for USTRANSCOM at Scott AFB, IL. The role supports executive communications, C2 systems, and secure/unsecure networks, with frequent worldwide travel. Normal hours apply, with after-hours/weekend support as needed.

Required: 10+ years in executive communications support, DoD TS with SCI, and IAT II certifications. Desirable: ITIL Foundations and CE certifications. Travel readiness and strong communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of executive communications support.
• DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI.
• At least one IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
• CE certification or certificate in Network support/defense or Operating System.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site technical expert and first point of contact for IT and C2 system issues for the commander, staff, and VIPs.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support deployments.
• Manage and operate the commander's executive communications package (secure/unsecure voice, video, data systems).
• Ensure interoperability between mobile systems and fixed-base networks; deploy within one hour of notification.
• Provide non-technical status updates to leadership.
