You will work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to craft authentic voices, speeches, and messaging across external and internal audiences.

You will build governance, prioritize opportunities, and collaborate across strategy, analytics, legal, and communications teams to advance Optum Health's strategy

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in executive communications or corporate communications.
• Proven ability to advise a CEO or C-suite on communications strategy.
• Exceptional executive writing and editing across speeches, briefings, and articles.
• Ability to translate business context into authentic, high-impact narratives.
• Experience operating in a highly matrixed organization.
• Willingness to travel roughly 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted communications advisor to the Optum Health CEO and select C‑suite leaders, shaping messaging and engagement.
• Develop and lead an integrated executive communications strategy aligned with business priorities and reputation objectives.
• Translate executive voice into authentic, credible communications across formats.
• Create differentiated leadership platforms and topic priorities for senior leaders.
• Translate complex business, clinical, policy, and market priorities into clear narratives.
• Provide proactive counsel and real-time support in high-stakes situations.
