Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience.
• Resume and Cover Letter required for consideration.
• Master's degree in related fields preferred; government relations/public sector communications background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working with executives and other senior-level leadership to develop, edit, and publish high-level communications, including talking points, speeches, leadership emails, and official messages.
• Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals and support executive visibility; may advise executive on their social media presence.
• Adept with standard software and operating systems; has proficiency in presentation design and content management systems.
• Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision, including collaborating with and reviewing the work of colleagues.
• Provide communications support for executive programs, initiatives, events, and special working groups; provide subject matter expertise in delivering presentations and speeches.
• Translate ideas, objectives, position, and management philosophy into executive detailed messaging that relates to the topic, speaker, and intended audience.
• Ensure executive-level consistency with messaging strategies and brand identity within each published article, speech, and other developed content.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse teams across the Institute.
• May provide communications support outside of regular working hours as needed.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
