Capital One seeks a high-energy communicator to join our Commercial Communications team in Richmond, VA. In this senior Associate role, you will partner with executives to shape the internal narrative of the Commercial Bank and translate complex financial strategies into engaging campaigns.

You will craft announcements, talking points, town halls, and updates, ensure alignment with enterprise Brand standards, and track engagement metrics to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 3 years in Corporate Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations, or directly supporting a senior executive.
• At least 2 years managing digital content creation tools (Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite).

Responsibilities

• Partner with LOB communication leads to co-author and execute internal strategies for executives.
• Write and polish internal content for senior leaders, including announcements and talking points.
• Elevate client and associate stories and manage internal channels to align with Brand standards.
• Guard the executive voice and ensure messaging aligns with strategy.
• Track engagement metrics and optimize communications based on data.
• Collaborate with Chiefs of Staff, HR, and other groups to drive alignment.
