Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Corporate Communications Operations Manager to support the VP and leadership team by managing priorities, planning, and day-to-day operations. You will help keep high-priority work on track, connect activity across teams, and bring structure to key initiatives.

The role requires advanced project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s with 4 years OR Associate’s with 8 years OR High school with 10 years in communications, project management, business operations, or related experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize complex work and drive projects through completion
• Experience working across teams to coordinate work and resolve issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and collaboration/project management tools

Responsibilities

• Support the Vice President and leadership team in managing priorities, planning, and day-to-day operations
• Track priorities, milestones, decisions, and follow-up actions
• Coordinate leadership team meetings, agendas, materials, and follow-through
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and team operating rhythms
• Develop executive-ready updates and materials for the VP
• Connect work across Corporate Communications teams and resolve dependencies
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve team effectiveness
• Lead special projects and priorities on behalf of the VP
