Job summary

United Way of the Bluegrass seeks an Executive & Communications Manager to provide high‑level support to the President & CEO and lead agency‑wide communications, including social media and internal branding.

You will translate programs and milestones into compelling narratives for staff, volunteers, donors, and community audiences, while safeguarding confidentiality and coordinating across teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience spanning communications, social media strategy, and senior-level support.
• Demonstrated ability to own a social media strategy, not just content creation.
• Strong storytelling translating programs, data, outcomes, and milestones.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading across executive, internal, digital, and public-facing comms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the President & CEO’s calendar, scheduling, and meeting logistics.
• Draft, proofread, and manage confidential correspondence for the President & CEO.
