Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Programs & Engagement Manager - PCI to elevate the EVP's internal and external presence through strategic communications, executive branding, and engagement initiatives.

You will lead content development, social media, and event support, translating leadership priorities into compelling messaging while safeguarding confidentiality. This hybrid role requires on-site presence for meetings and events, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in executive support, communications, marketing, or related role.
• Experience managing social media and content strategies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the EVP's leadership style and translate voice into communications and engagement.
• Draft, edit, and proofread speeches, talking points, and executive materials.
• Develop executive messaging for internal and external audiences.
• Plan and manage social media content calendars and posts.
• Coordinate travel, events, and presentation materials for leadership.
• Support award nominations, nominations, and recognition initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Monitor engagement metrics and adjust communications strategy.
