Responsibilities include evaluating borrower and guarantor financials, maintaining compliance with banking regulations, and staying current on market trends while mentoring more junior staff.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of commercial lending experience with financial analysis.
• Know-how of loan documentation, collateral analysis, and financial statements.
• Strong regulatory knowledge across applicable state and federal laws.
• Proficient with Excel, Argus, and related credit systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source opportunities and analyze commercial lending opportunities.
• Negotiate and issue term sheets; gather information for credit requests.
• Prepare written credit presentations and display packages for review.
• Guide credit requests through reviews by managers and senior officers.
• Assist loan administration through closing; maintain loan quality.
• Stay aware of market trends and develop/refine referral networks.
