Job summary

Webb's Reserve Golf Club in Punta Gorda, FL seeks a General Manager to lead operations, guest experience, and financial performance across golf, court sports, lifestyle, wellness, F&B, and facilities.

The GM serves as the on-site senior leader, partnering with Troon, ownership, and the community while developing a high-performing team, controlling budgets, and ensuring exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of related experience in golf operations, club management, or food and beverage operations.
• A four-year college degree is preferred.
• PGA Member preferred.
• Must have supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience.
• Must demonstrate the ability to run a professional, efficient, and high-quality service-oriented operation.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be extremely organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, and a self-starter.
• Must have highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly.
• Must have the skill to exercise good independent judgment in assessing situations and making decisions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and administer a sound business and organizational plan for the property, including an operating/capital budget and marketing plan.
• Hire, develop, and supervise all key management employees of the property.
• Assure that the property is operated in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Oversee the care and maintenance of the property's physical assets, facilities, and landscaping.
• Ensure the highest standards for food and beverage, golf, court sports, recreation activities, and other property services.
• Analyze financial statements relative to budgeted goals and take corrective measures as necessary.
• Work with department heads to schedule, supervise, and direct the work of all property employees.
• Participate in outside activities deemed appropriate by the Regional VP/Manager to enhance the presence of the property in the local community.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
