Qualifications

  • Eight+ years of professional civil engineering leadership experience with at least three years directing engineering programs and staff management.
  • Ability to lead complex public infrastructure initiatives and multidisciplinary functions.
  • Experience with capital improvement programs, development review, transportation, utility infrastructure, and long-range planning.
  • Strong understanding of asset management, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to align infrastructure investment with economic development, housing, mobility, and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Direct planning, design, funding, and implementation of the City's capital improvement program.
  • Oversee infrastructure master planning, development review, and policy initiatives.
  • Serve as principal engineering advisor to City leadership and regional partners.
  • Lead a diverse team of professionals and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
