Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to act as a strategic operator, driving execution across the company and serving as trusted advisor on the most consequential decisions.

You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, translate the CEO's vision into clear priorities, manage meetings and board prep, and champion data-driven insights while maintaining autonomy and ownership in a fast-growth technology environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategy, business operations, management consulting, investment banking, or Chief of Staff roles.
• Ability to structure ambiguity, drive alignment, and translate goals into actionable plans.
• Strong strategic thinking with execution discipline and attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, influencing stakeholders up to the board.
• Analytical and data-driven with comfort handling large data sets.
• High agency, bold action, ownership of outcomes.
• Interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, trust-building.
• Discrete, confidential handling of information.
• Fluency or strong curiosity about AI tools and their business applications.
• Mission-driven with alignment to company values.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor and trusted partner to the CEO on design and opportunities.
• Represent the CEO in meetings; manage guardrails and decisions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion.
• Translate the CEO's vision into priorities and drive execution across teams.
• Prepare board and investor communications; manage cadence.
• Shape communications and narratives for internal and external audiences.
