Resort Lifestyle Communities in Virginia is seeking an Executive Chef to lead a hands-on Culinary and Dining team in an Independent Senior Living community. You’ll drive fresh, scratch-made meals and exceptional service, while building genuine connections with residents to deliver a luxury dining experience.

Lead the Signature Freedom Dining program, shape menus, and ensure a worry-free dining experience daily. The role emphasizes teamwork, standards, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proven leadership in culinary preparation, cooking, and supervising a team.
• Culinary degree or related higher education preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) and local permits.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily culinary operations, ensuring scratch-made meals with quality presentation and proper temperatures.
• Lead by example in the kitchen while working hands-on and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
• Train, coach, and develop Culinary and Dining teams and coordinate with the Dining Room Supervisor.
• Manage ordering, receiving, inventory, vendor relationships, and daily invoices.
• Build relationships with residents, gather feedback, and host monthly Chef chats.
• Create and maintain weekly labor schedules and ensure safety and uniform standards.
