Senior Resource Group is seeking a seasoned Food Service Director for its Los Angeles area community. You will oversee the dining program, manage staff, and ensure high-quality meals that meet nutritional standards.

The role emphasizes budget control, policy compliance, and collaboration with clinical teams. This full-time on-site position offers competitive pay between $85,000 and $95,000 per year, paid training, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five years supervisory experience required.
• Food Service experience in hospitality, country club, or senior living industry preferred.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical budgeting situations.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities in a manner consistent with the community's operating philosophy.
• Maintains a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty.
• Monitors key measurable indicators of the daily operations.
• Implements established policies and procedures and standards of performance.
• Administers, plans, and directs activities of food service department providing quality food service.
• Controls costs and manages Food Service department budget.
• Schedules kitchen staff to optimize quality service and departmental profitability.
• Ensures proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment.
• Consults with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions for residents.
