Atlantic Shores in Virginia Beach seeks an innovative Executive Chef to lead a multi-venue culinary operation serving residents and guests. You will drive menu development, maintain high food quality, and mentor a large kitchen team across five kitchens.

The role emphasizes budget control, food safety, and collaboration with the Director of Culinary Services to deliver exceptional dining experiences and seasonal menu changes.

Qualifications

• Culinary Bachelor's Degree preferred; or 3–4 years executive/sous chef experience in hotel/club/healthcare or similar.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience leading diverse BOH teams.
• ServSafe certified within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative cuisine and menus across multiple kitchens.
• Oversee five kitchens and ensure quality and consistency of all menu items.
• Develop budgets and monitor food and labor costs to meet targets.
• Recruit, train and mentor culinary staff; foster teamwork and positive culture.
• Coordinate with Catering/Events for special menus and functions.
