Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee multiple dining venues and the food production team. You will create menus, develop new recipes, and manage purchasing while ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and budgets.

The role involves coordinating recruitment and retention of staff, leading regular production meetings to boost engagement, and driving culinary excellence across our senior living campuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred).
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple venues and the food production staff.
• Create new recipes and build menus; order food and non-food items.
• Manage schedules to meet budgeted guidelines; enforce policies and food safety regulations.
• Coordinate recruitment and retention efforts for the food production staff; conduct production meetings to drive engagement.
