Job summary

KemperSports, Inc. is seeking a seasoned culinary operations leader for Cedar Point Club's kitchen in Suffolk, VA.

The role oversees all food production for restaurants, banquets and outlets, develops menus, recipes, and purchasing specs, and supervises production staff. Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting for food and labor, maintaining highest sanitation standards, and collaborating with Events Director on special events.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; culinary supervisory/management experience.
• State or Serve Safe certification required.
• Budget, fiscal management, strategic planning experience.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and assist with menu pricing considering customer needs and costs.
• Schedule and coordinate chefs, cooks and kitchen staff to ensure economical and correct production.
• Develop recipes and techniques to ensure high quality and manage food costs; control portions.
• Ensure sanitation standards are maintained across kitchen areas.
• Manage monthly inventory and review invoices to meet budgeted expenses.
