Job summary

KemperSports, Inc. is seeking a full-time Food & Beverage leader at Swan Point Yacht & Country Club (Issue, MD).

This role oversees all F&B service, supervises service, kitchen and beverage staff, plans budgets, hires and trains staff, and applies marketing principles to exceed guest expectations. You will develop annual budgets and operating plans, schedule staff, ensure sanitation and safety, manage procurement and cost controls, promote F&B programs to drive revenue, and comply with RAM,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree preferred.
• 5 years supervisory and/or management experience, preferably in the golf industry.
• Budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning and staff management.
• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; multi-task and work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual food and beverage budget and operating plan.
• Plan staffing schedules to meet service standards while controlling costs.
• Ensure sanitation standards across all F&B areas and equipment.
• Establish a cleaning and preventative maintenance program for fixtures and equipment.
• Implement purchasing and receiving to maintain par-stock and pricing.
• Monitor internal cost controls and maintain quality in production and service.
• Promote F&B services to outing clients/members and develop promotional programs.
• Ensure compliance with RAM/Tips programs and ADA and related laws.
• Manage employment activities including recruitment, evaluations, training and discipline.
• Stay informed on industry developments and report on operational results.
• Perform other duties as appropriate.
