Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group, a division of Compass USA, seeks an innovative Executive Chef to lead the culinary operation at the Capital One Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Based in Dallas, TX, this full-time role offers a seasoned culinary leader the chance to oversee a premium food and beverage program within a premier airport lounge.

You will direct all culinary operations, develop seasonal menus, mentor a high-performing team, manage food costs, and uphold HACCP and safety

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, incl. 3+ years as exec chef.
• Experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality or chef-driven concepts.
• Proven success leading culinary teams in high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of menu development and modern cooking techniques.
• Experience with action stations, upscale buffets, and VIP service.
• Solid food cost controls, labor, inventory and budgeting.
• Outstanding leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Airport lounge, luxury hotel or private club experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Culinary/Hospitality degrees preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct culinary operations, guaranteeing exceptional quality and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee food production, preparation, and execution across all menus.
• Develop seasonal menus with corporate culinary leadership.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Manage food cost, labor, purchasing, inventory and waste reduction.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and workplace safety standards.
