Job summary

Arianna, a modern Mediterranean restaurant opening in Uptown Dallas, seeks an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen from day one. You will craft a Mediterranean-centric menu spanning Levant, North Africa, Greece, Turkey, Italy and Spain, with Persian influence, building a team and a reputation from the ground up.

Responsibilities include pre-opening setup, sourcing, costing, hiring, and establishing plating, recipe and food-cost standards, in partnership with the GM.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking Persian, Middle Eastern, Greek, Arabic or Israeli cuisine.
• 5+ years of kitchen leadership, including 2+ years as Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
• Fine-dining background with refined technique and plating.
• Proven food cost and kitchen P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening kitchen setup, sourcing, recipe development, costing and hiring.
• Recruit and develop a kitchen team to Michelin-level standards.
• Own food cost, ordering, inventory and vendor relationships.
• Set recipe, plating and consistency standards.
• Partner with the GM on tastings, staff education and guest feedback.
• Maintain a spotless, health-code compliant kitchen.
