Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks an Executive Chef to oversee multiple dining venues and food production teams. You will develop menus, create recipes, and manage purchasing, scheduling, and adherence to budget and safety policies.

The ideal candidate has a culinary degree and at least a decade of experience in relevant settings, with strong knowledge of food safety regulations. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years' experience in full-service restaurant, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple venues and the food production staff.
• Create new recipes and ensure quality of food items.
• Build menus, order food and non-food items, and manage staff schedules within budget.
• Enforce all policies and food safety regulations.
• Coordinate recruitment and retention of food production staff and conduct regular production meetings to drive engagement.
