Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee multiple venues and lead the food production staff. You will create new recipes, build menus, and manage purchasing and scheduling to meet budget targets.

You will ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and coordinate recruitment and retention of kitchen staff, with regular production meetings to drive employee engagement and improve dining experiences across campuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred).
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• Knowledge of the food industry and trends.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple venues and the food production staff.
• Create new recipes and ensure quality of food items.
• Build menus, order food and non-food items, and manage schedules to meet budgeted guidelines.
