Job summary

Whiskey Joe's Manatee River in Ellenton, FL is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across dining room and private events, crafting unforgettable experiences and elevating our upscale cuisine.

You will design seasonal menus, mentor a talented kitchen team, manage food costs and budgets, and partner with events staff to tailor banquet menus. Knowledge of food safety and high-volume service required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Executive Chef in upscale, high-volume settings.
• 5+ years in BOH leadership in large restaurant/event center environments.
• Strong culinary skills with creativity and innovation.
• Experience managing private events, banquets, and catering.

Responsibilities

• Lead all culinary operations in the restaurant and private events.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus showcasing creativity and excellence.
• Mentor and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and budgeting to meet targets.
• Collaborate with events team to tailor menus for private events.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety per industry standards.
