Job summary

Whiskey Joe's Manatee River in Florida is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join a high-energy culinary team. You will prepare and cook meals to recipes, follow safety standards, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

You will work with the team to ensure timely service, set up stations, and assist with prep, inventory, and portion control. This role requires flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, and offers growth opportunities within a dynamic waterfront dining

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals in collaboration with the kitchen team according to established recipes and standards.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets health department standards.
Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies.
Ensure dishes are presented attractively and appetizingly.
Assist in ingredient preparation for future service.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to kitchen management.
Adhere to portion control standards and minimize food waste.
